Flic looks like a smart Bluetooth button, which is capable to control dozens of apps and services with some clicks. Keep with you simply, if you’d usually use your smartphone to do something then you can probably program Flic to do it instead.
It was invented on Indiegogo in 2014, it broke its $80,000 target and raise almost $1 million in just two months. 18 months on, now the Flic is really getting into its stride, with availability worldwide and a partner list that continues to grow.
Although it isn’t a complete solution right now, it’s an interesting and accessible way to have a bit of fun with your connected smartphone applications and devices, and it will only get better with time.
Flick Design:-
Flic is a small, soft in touch silicon button, like a little coin, that has a satisfying soft click to it when you press it. It's not more than half an inch tall and is available in black, white or turquoise colors.
On the rear side, it has a removable, reusable sticky pad, with which you can fix your Flic to just about anything. There’s enough stick in the pad to enable movement of it several times, but for those who are super-indecisive about placement, you can peel off the pad and wash it to renew its stickiness. Note that there’s also a clip included in the box for attaching your Flic to clothes or bags.
The Flic comes with a coin-cell battery, which should last up to 18 months. To replace it, simply stick the Flic down and give it a twist to remove the back panel.
