Maya is a vagrant who is to wed her nearest beloved companion, Rishi Talwar. The two have been raised by Rishi's carefree well off father, Samarjit. Dev is a fruitful soccer player who lives in New York City with his better half Rhea, his child Arjun and his mom Kamaljit. Maya meets Dev minutes before she is to wed Rishi.
